List family-friendly venues nearby
If your property is in a prime family spot, make sure you let your potential guests know about it! Is there a park and kids pool available in the building or at the villa or is there a park within walking distance? This is a great pull for families with young kids. Even if there is a family-friendly restaurant that you can recommend, that information would be highly appreciated by your guests.
Be clear about the number of bedrooms
Parents looking to stay at your property will take the time to consider where each of their children will sleep. They will look through the pictures and take note of how many bedrooms there actually are. If the property is listed as a two-bedroom but there are only pictures of one bedroom they will move on to the next listing. If your property has only one bedroom but the living room also converts into a sleeping area, don’t list it as a two-bedroom. Make the living area sleeping space very clear.
Toys and books
A few books and simple toys are enough to keep kids occupied for a few days. It’s such a treat to stay in a place that has this. Kids get super excited about toys that aren’t theirs, it’s amazing how it will keep them occupied during their time in your property. These will give parents a little more time for themselves and also could allow them to pack a little less knowing that there are toys already available.
Essential Items
A travel cot, outlet protectors or a high chair aren’t necessary, but they do make your property even more family friendly. Including these in your property will be a huge benefit and your guests will be leaving you glowing reviews! Make sure to add these items to your listing so they know not to overpack!

A washing machine and laundry products are almost an essential especially if there isyoung kids! Accidents and spillages can happen and having access to washing facilities is so beneficial.
